Thursday Afternoon Dress Rehearsal For The 400 Brass Players
You Can See by The Sky That a Storm is Coming!!!
But Not Even a Downpour could dampen our time in Maastricht!
.
. .

. .
.
The Brass Players were from different groups and they each wore
their own uniforms. They weren't together in their groups though as
they marched in, they were lined up by what instrument they played.
What a site to see and hear!
.
Not Everyone Got Wet ...
.
But the skies opened up and the rain came down hard! Those who were over by the fence watching got drenched! They didn't care though ... they came running across the street under the awning where we were at Gauchos along with a lot of the Brass Players who had also taken cover under Gauchos awning. And then they began to play songs for us with everyone clapping and having a Party in the rain under the awning!!! How loud it was having them all around us under there and you could hear each instrument SO clear! They played song after song until the rain stopped. I have never heard anything like it!! We would have missed all that fun if it wasn't for that Downpour!! :)
.

The Downpour Soon Passed and They Marched Into The Vrijthof
Below they are lined up in the street coming in from both
sides to march into the Vrijthof.
It wasn't easy getting all 400 into the Vrijthof so they all
arrived around the whole Square ending on both sides
at the same time!! Who came up with such an idea?!?! ;-)

.
Then Thursday Night's Dress Rehearsal For Brass and All

. .

Finally Friday Night's Concert And a Complete Success!!
Of Course ~ Would we expect anything else from THE Man? :)
